Newton Medical III

my step son was seen in the office with a 103 fever, he had strep throat and they called in a prescription to Target- when I left and went to target the pharmacy was closed- called back the newton medical MULTIPLE times, which now they had closed- the on call DR. was impossible to get a hold of- when he did call me back he told me to go to cvs they can get the script from target but when I did cvs said they couldn't because target was closed- the on call DR. refused to call in a new script because he couldn't get a hold of the DR. who saw my son. Now two hours of back and forth my sick son upset and didn't feel good. I had to call his pediatrician and fax him over proof that we were seen at a different practice and he called me in a script for the antibiotics ASAP to the cvs that was open. Worst practice I have ever dealt with, and of course I'm paying $180 to be seen there for nothing.

This is my Primary and Urgent Care provider, for about 20 years now! Now all of my family goes there. Dr. Barlin is great and so is his primary nurse, Michelle. Donna is usually at the front desk and she is very nice too! Kind and caring staff, all of them! Definitely suggest to anyone!

the blonde nurse treats you like you're an idiot and like you don't know anything. She needs an attitude adjustment ASAP. everytime i come to this facility, i feel uncomfortable and like I'm constantly being judged. This is probably one of the most unprofessional places I've ever been to. Believe me when I say you're better off going to see a REAL doctor.

Dr. Barlin has been the most consistent and caring medical professional I've encountered in years. Sure it loses a store because the place is a little dirty, but Dr. Barlin will actually listen to your symptoms and has been able to offer me a diagnosis where other doctors have failed. I suffered with gout for months, Dr. Barlin was the ONLY one who figured it out. This is the best Dr. in the area until someone can introduce me to someone otherwise.
