Best breakfasts in the Adirondack Park and its a big park. Three types of coffee always available. The bread and sausages are homemade. A tip: One pancake may be enough; links over patties. Lunch is right up there too. Its friendly, chatty, and a place you can sit and read the newspaper (or your phone) and watch Saranac Lake stroll by on Main Street

Fortunately we were one of the first in this morning and soon the place was full. And yet our waitress was pleasant and our orders came out quickly. The Irish scramble was very good as was the corned beef hash fried eggs. We're looking forward to tomorrow morning.

Bland food. Came for the eclipse weekend and was recommended this place by our Airbnb host as where the locals go. There was only a 10 minute wait but the coffee and food was bad and under seasoned. I asked for a hazelnut latte which they said they could do and I was served a watery gas station coffee with hazelnut syrup that was almost $7! Shocking as the specialty coffee shops next door only charge $6 for a latte. I ordered the J&J breakfast sandwich ($8) and the taters (just boiled/bKed potatoes) and both were just lacking salt and seasoning. The tomato soup ($6) was lacking salt and tasted watered down. I guess if this is the only place open in the small town it's ok but definitely lower your expectations

Wonderfully pleasant old-school cafe with lots of local color (and patrons), but with a slightly upscale menu. Perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Have only gone here for breakfast so cant speak for lunch, but this place is a must try!! Never disappoints. I always go for the Hash and Eggs meal but everything on the menu looks spectacular. Servers are friendly and helpful, atmosphere is great, and the coffee is self serve so you can make it to your liking. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend.
