My grandmother has gotten hurt repeatedly in this facility and at time being left for hours alone after a fall. The communication is awful. We are given names and emails of people to contact to arrange visitation and get care updates, but they never respond.

This facility is a blessing. My Mom was transported by my sister and nephew, I should say rescued from a Orange county nursing home. She was starved and abused there. Roscoe has saved my Mother's life. They are excellant and treat their resident's with T.L.C. May God bless all ths staff for treating my Mom like she is their Mother. God Bless all of you for caring and the beautiful way you care for your resident's.

When my family member first got there is was okay but after a while the attention and care given started to diminished. Her therapeutic needs are not being met because they feel since she is not progressing but not getting worse she no longer needs therapy. Every time they stoped therapy she has fallen more often. Maybe it’s too much work for them to just keep her in. She has gained a significant amount of weight being there because she is eating to keep herself happy and there is no encouragement to help her make the right decisions. They expect for her to be able to be more independent but with her disease it’s not so much possible. Yes, she still has her mind but she is not as capable of caring for herself as they think. When family suggests for things to be done differently it takes a while for your suggestions to process. I’d say stay on top of them. While staying here she has had a few items be taken from her such as purfume and clothes (which have been replaced). The staff is nice and they seem like they are overworked all the time because when you call they make it sound as if they don’t want to be bothered when answering calls. When first getting there I wanted her to be showered every day but after a while I got convinced to have it be every other day because it was hard on her. Which was okay until she forgot when she was showered so when she was asked she said she had been but she hasn’t so she would go a few days without (you would think they keep track and wouldn’t ask a resident to). She does enjoy the activities and programs they have there because it helps her get out of the room but she still doesn’t walk around as much. She went in there with a walker and after a year she barley uses it and is more attached to using a wheel chair because they encourage for her to use that instead. It’s an okay place for the time being but I am looking into other facilities.

I’m disappointed in this facility. When I call on behalf of my mothers care they tell me the reason she is in the state she is in is because of her poor choices, she’s is “independent” but in fact they do nothing to help her make better life choices. Just over a year ago she’s went into this facility walking with a walker, she’s isn’t now 50lbs+ heavier and rolling around in a wheelchair most of the time. My mother was diagnosed with MS and I know about this disease inside and out, and with the right therapy, diet, and excersize regiment she could be doing very well. Instead at this facility they do nothing to help her make the right choices they provide her with all the food and junk necessary to kill herself. It’s like giving meth to a meth addict. There are some people that genuinely care, but not enough. People are overworked but that still isn’t an excuse for depriving and elder/disabled people of their right to proper care. They really need to step up and listen to the families of their clients. I’ve spoken to administrators and nurses and other staff and nothing’s seems to be resolved in a timely manner. If you are looking into this facility for a family member or friend I wouldn’t recommend this place. My review of this facility is my right to freedom of speech, if any staff wants to call me, thats fine with me but I will not remove this review. People out there need to know the truth. I don’t speak on the behalf of all residents just my mother and how’s she is treated and cared for. I haven’t disclosed all things that have happened while my mother has been at this facility. One last thing if my mother is treated poorly due to my review, the proper authorities will be notified.

The facility seems to think that the residents can do everything by themselves so they aren’t much help. It’s supposed to be a rehab facility but they allow for the residents to gain 50 lbs and eat to make them happy rather than encourage them to walk and stay mobile. Sometimes when the staff gets too lazy the try to eliminate the amount of work put in to giving people showers and getting them dressed. Every time the residents get a shower their beds are supposed to be stripped but my family members bed stayed the same with ice cream sticking on to it for over a week and her showers were every other morning. When speaking to the head nurse sometimes things don’t get passed through. I suggest to go straight to administration, but sometimes they also don’t help. On good days the staff is very helpful but there aren’t many and they try to get the day over with rather than be productive.
