While the food was very good the service was atrocious. Not only was the burger served to our table rare as opposed to medium as ordered, but they took it back and barely cooked it before returning it to us. We were then told that this is how all restaurants serve burgers. The waitress was overheard talking rudely about our table to other workers twice. Two other workers were also very rude to us throughout the night. We won't be back unless the staff's attitude changes.

This is a great restaurant with a different twist. Three column menu, left is sushi rolls including some really innovative stuff, right is nigiri and sashimi and center is apps and small plate entrees (not so small) that are seasonal. I have not had a bad meal here. The sushi is as good or better than any in town. The service problems mentioned in an earlier review appear to be resolved. I could live with less of the orange art but the place is a nice size and the volume isn't bad. The challenge is getting there because of one way streets. Here's how to do it: Pull up in front of Geva Theater on Woodbury Blvd, facing west (towards the river). Take the next left (next to theater) and follow it around a curve and down a short block to the end. You are at Nikko. Valet or back up a bit and you'll see a lot behind the bldg. The neighborhood is safe at night but don't leave valuable looking things in your car (this goes for Pittsford as well as downtown). Enjoy- it's worth it!
