Tops Friendly Market

Really not a fan of Tops. They're more expensive than Wegmans without the quality. Definitely over priced. There produce is not up to par.

I love this store. Most of the employees have been there long enough to become familiar with the locals and their needs and preferences. I've often been put in a good mood just by the warmth of the cashiers and usual good conversation while ringing my order in no time. I've read a few of these reviews on the internet that were not this positive. But I have yet to see their complaints manifest as I shop at this location everyday, sometimes a couple times a day. You tend to see some very rude customers who bring their troubles with them to the grocery store and take it all out on a randomn clerk, who's simply doing their job and still maintaining a courteous attitude. It's really messed up how false negative reviews and pollute one's perception of a staple neighborhood store that ISN'T overpricee as long as you use their BONUS CARD!! Which they will give you right then and there if you take ten seconds to fill out a small form for it. And even then if you don't want to they'll still do the courtesy of offering you their store CARD so you can get the true sale prices. The ONLY customers who complain about the prices are the ones who are stupid enough not to use the BONUS CARD. Their sales are usually awesome. Their aisle to aisle selection is broader than Wegmans. I feel like I'm losing money whenever I hit up a Wegmans. Let's be real here and not spiteful. This store is not only sentimental to those who grew up shopping there. It's also really helpful to have it in the area and they have great deals. The ones giving spiteful and negative reviews are probably the same rude customers who start problems and are too pompous and big-headed to grow up and act like adults in public, and also realize that none of us are right all the time.
