Holiday Inn Express Rochester - University Area, an IHG Hotel

The room was clean, and bed/bedding was very comfortable. Great service with a good breakfast. Couldn't try out the pool as it was under maintenance.

We had a 2 night stay here and we were disappointed with our stay. When we first got to our room it was freezing cold because the heat had not been turned on. Our 2nd day housekeeping never made it to our room so we had to ask to replenish our towels. Also the second night there was a very loud group constantly running up/down the halls, slamming their door, running up/down the stairs which was super disruptive and we did not get any sleep. We called the concierge to see if they could do anything about it they did not seem to care and the noise was ongoing until 4 am. Don't stay here if you want a restful night' sleep.

I asked for a room on upper floor; but she assigned me a room on first floor!!! The room is very small, and crammed tight, with furniture!!! The bathroom has very strong smell of mold!?!? I should have rejected the room, but am too tired to go back out there!!! I wont return HERE, and I generally offer glowing reviews and photos of this brand. But not this one!!!

Everything was good still waiting on a call back from hotel manager as he said he would call to discuss a issue. Other than that the food in morning was great and the staff was great
