Mascot built our home in 2021-2022 and we could not be happier. From start to finish, they made the process easy, while providing quality workmanship in every corner of our home. They truly care about their craft, and the quality was above and beyond what we expected. Despite shortages of supply and labor in a post pandemic era, they met our timelines and worked with us to make sure we were well taken care of and happy. It is a family owned business and they treat their clients like family. Building a home is no easy task, but they make it enjoyable every step of the way - from working with great suppliers/companies they work with to having the owner perform the final walk through for hours to answer any questions we may have. Several years ago, I had a significant issue trying to purchase townhomes from Mascot Builders. They changed the deal and proposed a higher price for the purchase, which was unacceptable considering we had a signed agreement with a deposit that was waiting to be countersigned by them. I wrote an extensive review outlining the chronology of the transaction. I retracted the review almost immediately after discovering that some of the builder's concerns regarding property taxes were never mentioned to me through their representatives or mine. My new realtor, contacting several townhome developers, was told by the realtor representing Mascot Builders that they would not do business with me because of my current negative review. I immediately called the realtor and Mascot and said that I had no negative review of the company and that the review regarding environmental factors was from another person with the initials JLW. Those are not my initials and not my review; she persisted in claiming it was my review. I'm contacting the New York State licensing division and greater Rochester realtors and putting a formal complaint against this realtor
