Ide Mazda

My family and I had a very poor attempted new car purchasing experience at Ide Mazda. After trying to get to a more affordable price on a car, the salesperson kept bringing us back basically the same deal over and over again and didn’t reduce the monthly payments. He kept saying his sales manager wasn’t available, making us wait 24+ hours to hear back. When we ran into financing difficulties he dropped us like a hot potato, and said he would discuss leasing for us with his sales manager, but he never got back to us. This after providing us with a signed sales agreement to place the car we wanted on hold. We went to another Mazda dealership in Rochester and worked with a motivated, great salesperson who worked with us to get us the best deal for us with terrific financing and we were able to purchase a Mazda the same day. Overall it didn’t feel like Ide wanted to sell us a car, and we were inconveniencing them. They wanted us to do all the work and were unwilling to work for us or meet us halfway. Ide Mazda’s inventory is tiny compared to other Mazda dealerships in town, their sales and parts departments feel barren, dated and unwelcoming, and it seems like Mazdas are just an inconvenient afterthought for the much bigger Honda dealership up the hill. I would avoid Ide Mazda and take your business elsewhere to better, much more motivated and friendlier Mazda dealerships in town.

Gave a free rental while car being fixed. Very friendly and helpful employees.
