Blue Collar Property Maintenance

We brought this company on for mowing in 2021 and start-to-finish were very unsatisfied with their service. They showed up for the first mowing of the season several weeks after the agreed-upon date, did one shoddy mowing job (with no trimming, which was part of our arrangement) and then never showed up again. I reached out to them when they hadn't shown up in over two weeks after the first mowing of the season and was advised that they simply stopped coming because they didn't receive our check within one week of their first mowing. Our check was mailed out less than one week after receiving their invoice and they simply no-showed for two consecutive weeks with no communication whatsoever. The whole experience with these guys was very unprofessional. I would advise people to steer clear of this company. Service: Lawn mowing/maintenance

Hired BCPM a year ago to do bi-weekly yard maintenance and spring/fall clean ups. Things were going great until Winter 2020. "We'll be there today" would turn into three days later, often leaving me snowed in. Things came to a head in Spring of 2021, when my spring clean up was reschedule 4 times, with them no-showing each time with NO attempt at communicating with me to advise they weren't coming. Each time I'd reach out to get a new reason. Weather is totally understandable, but when there's constantly an excuse it's no longer a coincidence. Even so, tried communicating and giving them one last chance. Second to last message said "So and so will be there Monday, hopefully before 10AM. Thank you." only to receive "I did not get a response from you to verify, unfortunately we can't get there." at 10AM." They never asked for a response so that was a fun mail to get. Tried calling and have been sent to voicemail with no returned call or email. Life happens. Weather happens. Not showing up, not communicating and providing false, or no expectations is not acceptable. The work they did, they did very well. However, would not recommend as they are very unreliable and do not communicate. Services: Lawn mowing/maintenance, Property management, Garden tidy-up

Snow removal: I have a very tricky situation here in Glens Falls with limited space for snow plowing and Shawn and his crew did a fantastic job. I am so grateful for how carefully they listened to my instructions and concerns about where to put the snow and the property lines and the maneuvering around fences, etc. What a great job they did, and for a very fair price. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
