        My wife had a dulcimer in need of repair and alterations. Mr. MacBlane was friendly, attentive and described fully what he planned on doing. His shop at the rear of his home was fascinating with the extensive tools and the various guitars, violins, mandolins and banjos hanging up through the space. Originally he said it might take a few months with all his other work, however he called in 3 weeks stating he had completed the job. He described the task as a challenge and showed us pictures he took of the process and was clearly pleased and proud of the work he had done. The nearly 2 and a half hour drive from our home in Schenectady County was so worth it. We would highly recommend MacBlane String Instruments for anyone in need of a repair and the price was very reasonable
