Although I am sure BSD web solutions is your run-of-the-mill web hosting, the reason for the poor review is the atrocious customer support I experienced for the brief time I had to endure contact with them.
After sending a few short, rushed, emails to BSD for a client that needed a DNS change, I was belittled by the responder for 'bad grammar' and lack of detail. I was hoping with a quick summary to initiate a phone call. What I received in return was a few condescending emails with quite an attitude.
I could not in good conscience ever recommend a company that had such poor disposition and felt the need to be so blatantly rude to clients (or to be more precise, a client's technology consultant).
It's unfortunate considering the number of companies I work with in the Hudson Valley area.
You should really take care when you decide to treat someone with such a lack of decorum.
