UR Medicine Imaging – Penfield Crossings

I work for a health agency and I believe in treating people with kindness and respect, especially during these times when everything is uncertain. I've always had issues going to the doctor and I get nervous when it comes to my own health. The technician was very understanding and explained everything to me, before they proceeded the exam. I would recommend this place, based on the professionalism of the Technician.

If I could leave no stars I would. The tech was very polite but the woman at the desk checking me in was very rude to me and made me seem like I didnt know what I was talking about. Very disappointing for someone to make you feel worse when youre already not feeling well.

I was visiting my family for a wedding and stayed longer as my sister was having an MRI. This was her fist imaging experience. She was very nervous about the appointment. I have been in the medical field for over 25 years and was frankly disgusted with the service she received. From the check-in staff member being downright rude, to the tech ignoring my sister when she asked if she could have some music. My sister was adopted and I have to wonder if the fact she is Asian is why she was treated the way she was. This was not the first experience I wanted for her and would never recommend this site to anyone! I wish there was an option for zero stars. Very, very disappointed!!!!!

When you walk in the door and the check in staff loudly sighs you feel unwelcome. When you try to apologize for coming in so close to closing time and they ignore your apology and ask you to spell your last name in a gruff manor you feel unwelcome.
