I planned on bringing my fiance and her family to a place in Holbrook for her birthday but I forgot to make reservations, when I called they were not going to be able to take us until much later in the evening. Afterwards I called Hoshi and the person I talked to was very friendly and was able to squeeze 8 of us in with just an hours notice. Our cook was great, very good with my step daughter, kept her entertained the whole time he was out which is tough to do in todays iPad age. He was funny, sang songs and wasnt pushy with the saki or throwing food at us, Ive experienced this in the past at other hibachi restaurants and it made me resistant about going back. He told us he had been cooking for 30 years and had worked in hibachi restaurants all over the US. You could tell, the food was really good, everyone enjoyed their meals and the price wasnt too bad either. I will take my family back again in the future and I definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for some good food and a few hours of fun.
