The Esplanade at Palisades

My mother had many happy years at the Esplanade at Palisades, with quality, conscientious care.  Then, on October 28, 2020, at the height of the pandemic, I believe the Esplanade staff exposed her to COVID by conducting a social event that involved removing her mask.  That is, a wine tasting, (though a conflicting report describes it as a tea party).  I believe the staff acted just as irresponsibly again on October 31, when she attended Jewish services there that allowed congregants to remove their masks to pray. Multiple residents who took part in these two gatherings contracted COVID, including seven who died - one of whom was my mother. My brothers and I hold the management of the Esplanade responsible for these tragedies by being carelessly risky.  See: lohud.com/story/news/loc…

The Esplanade at Palisades is a special place--lovely facilities and grounds, outstanding staff, a warm and friendly atmosphere. My parents, who are near 90, are very well taken of here and the whole family is grateful.

My husband stayed here and was well cared for. He enjoyed the comfortable and friendly environment. The staff are knowledgeable and attentive. We are very grateful for a place like this.

I don't know what these other reviews are talking about.. I'd move in with my grandma here this place is beautiful
