image Im writing as I sit here on my 4 th hour waiting . If it changes Ill let u know But waiting for care that long is disturbing to say the least. Especially when people are going out but no one getting called. Im sitting in room now going on hour .people are getting triaged but thats all . What is happening to our health care system? They called one person with back pain who was chatting with receptionist ( they knew each other) Very concerned about whats happening out here to our healthcare

image Update I did speak to Rob Mages the nurse manager who let me that the doctor has been with mercy ambulatory care center since they opened and it was probably an off day. Im sorry but lying about the care I received and forging a medical document is not an off day. One of my coworkers is former ems and she said they would try not to take patients here.
If I could give zero stars I would. I went there this morning due to low back pain that was getting progressively worse, that was radiating into my legs and I was unable to walk straight.
The doctor Dr Kushan came in said it was probably a strain said Ill give you a muscle relaxer and due an X-ray just to rule out anything serious. No physical exam was done nor any in depth questions. I assumed after the X-ray was done a discussion would be had but that never happened. Instead I was taken to a small waiting room where grace an X-ray tech took me into the back for a set of 5 X-rays. She had me go back into a small waiting room across from the cast room. After 20 minutes a nurse gave me a single print out for an after visit summary, told me a script was sent to my pharmacy and I was free to go. I asked how my X-ray she said fine and I was free to go.
Imagine my surprise when I log into my chart to see the ED MD note stating a full physical exam was one with a chaperone there and that after my X-ray was done I was told to follow up with a back specialist. My X-ray was abnormal and no one told me anything about that. My pcp was the one who reviewed the report and told me I have degenerative disc disease and disc issues at L4 and L5.
When I called the macc er room back I spoke to Elizabeth who told me if I still was in pain to come back to be evaluated. Seriously? I wasnt even evaluated the last time.
If you need emergent care go somewhere else. This er room is going to wind up killing someone with their medical negligence

image My husband went there back in May of 2023 for a cut on his finger. We received the bills and on July 5th I paid his bill using our HSA account. I unfortunately had to do so as a guest because the code we had was expired and when we tried signing him up it kept giving us errors. So it didnt go further past due I typed in his account number and paid the bill as a guest. Now they kept sending bills saying it wasnt paid and have sent it to collections. I have sent them proof of payment beginning in August and have continued every time they sent a new bills. I have disputed it with the collection agency once and I have yet to hear back. However, now that hes had to go back a few times we have access to account the bill is still sitting as unpaid in collections. I have probably sent them proof 8 times over now that it was paid. They will not correct it no matter what. Just sent me a letter and underline a spot that shows no payments made in my husbands my chart account even though I said it was paid as a guest I dont know what else to do at this point. This place has now stolen $545.85 of HSA money from me and my husband.. I dont know what else to do at this point as I just keep sending them the same thing over and over again but they keep ignoring my proof of payment. Im at a loss and have no idea what else to do. My husband even spoke to them and told them it was paid on the phone and that proof was sent, and still going on a year later still in collections and still not marked as paid Im frustrated and stressed.
