Had an iud placed in 6 months ago. I informed them for months that my cycle is irregular (14-17 days) as opposed to 4 days.( Iud are known to shorten periods) Had the follow up apt a few weeks later and they told me at my sonogram that the iud appears to be placed low but should be ok. I told them that my cycle has been 14(+) days and it just seems off & could that (where’s it place) be a reason. they informed me again to just wait at least 6 months. I finally called and had it when my cycle lasted 3 weeks on the 6 month. Another doctor finally says “no that’s not normal the iud could be placed wrong …” ….SMH

I have been a patient for 30 yrs. Dr. Lopes was my doctor, but has since retired. Once it became Northwell, it went downhill. Crazy long waits & unfriendly staff TWICE in the past 2 yrs, they called in the WRONG DOSAGE (it was the PA who called it in) for my prescription. I had to pay $50 copay each time for the wrong script. It was the Dr office's error, but told me to take it up with my prescription plan .My script plan said it wasn't their error, they filled script exactly as directed. (I don't blame them) The office mgr Arlene was unapologetic & told me there was nothing they could do. I have switched to another doctor.

If you like waiting 2 hours (literally) before being seen. Rude, apathetic staff. Unapologetic doctors and nurses that have out of date vaccine tags and don't comply with the mask rules to protect their patients - This is the place for you. If you actually want quality medical care with a competent and caring staff then look elsewhere. Other patients waiting in the waiting room have plenty of time to chat and their frustration mirrored my own. I went because of how local they are but the short drive isn't worth the hassle.

I have had a great experience with this practice, from the doctors, the nurses and the staff. I recently had a baby and throughout my pregnancy I met with Dr. O’Sullivan, Dr. Bakshi, and Dr. Sterbutzel. I didn’t meet with Dr. Falkowski because she was on maternity leave at the time, however I’ve heard great things about her. The maternity nurse, Julie is also amazing. Julie would always go the extra mile, take her time explaining things, answer any questions and offer to meet if needed. Dr. Sterbutzel delivered my baby and I was very happy and comfortable with his care. I am so disappointed to see negative reviews of this practice, mostly due to wait times. There were some instances where I did have to wait a little longer, however, in my own experience if I needed to be seen, they always fit me in for an appointment. I never mind having to wait if it means that a patient who truly needed to be seen is being cared for. I felt the office staff were always kind and organized as well. I highly recommend this practice, I felt that the doctors listened to me and took their time which is something you don’t always find. I am very happy with the care I received and will continue to go to this practice.

I have been using this gynecologist since I first started getting my period recently went there and they couldn’t even diagnose a UTI after I went twice I had to go to the hospital weeks later due to it getting so bad and the doctors here are so rude especially Hedi she made me feel horrible about myself due to the fact that I was sick and wanted to get test done DO NOT GO HERE
