        Stayed overnight during our northeast road trip vacation. The lodge was clean and had the "lodge in the mountains" feel that we were hoping for. The little restaurant was perfect and they even went out of their way to accommodate my gluten free needs. The staff were lovely and we had an overall fabulous experience. This is not an expensive resort, it is a mountain lodge and perfect in what it is! We will stay again!

        We stayed at the Black Mountain Lodge overnight for a local wedding. The room was quaint and immaculate. The staff was amiable; they even stayed open late for us after the wedding. The bartender, Cooper, who was actually their chef, was also extremely friendly and accommodating. And, he made the best homemade blueberry muffins for breakfast the following day.

        It was a great motel overall the staff is nice food is great. Rooms are nice a few things I dislike is that the toilets clog easily and the wall outlets are pushed in so my charger keeps falling out. Love it
