Kittichai is located inside the Thompson Hotel and has one of the best brunch deals in town. First thing you'll notice is the decor is meticulous and posh, perfect for a date or family outing. The brunch deal is really the main reason I come, for $25 you have 2 hour unlimited brunch cocktails, one of which is a divine lychee bellini. The dishes aren't bad either, I usually opt for the Thai benedict but the kaffir lime pancakes and steak and eggs are also great. If you come for dinner, don't miss out on the whiskey glazed BBQ ribs and a side of pineapple fried rice is nice with everything. Bottom line: Great food and ambiance, but it's still a hotel restaurant. Try brunch and if you really like it, come back for dinner.

Beautiful restaurant but disappointing and mediocre food. Some of the appetizers and entres were just plain bad. A few were good, but nothing was excellent and I would not bother to go back. Also, the portions were way too small.

This review is for BRUNCH ONLY. As an avid brunch-er I pride myself in trying out the best of the best places. So obviously when I visited Kittichai you know it's THE REAL DEAL. Duh. LOL. *** I made reservations for 12pm but my friend and I were both late (unintentionally) but the ladies at Kittichai were so cool about it, giving us a table anyway. I must say that this is EXCELLENT customer service. However, I would not recommend anyone being late for brunch. EVER. *** Decor wise the restaurant is very chic. Before even getting into the restaurant there is a 3 piece couch across from the bar area for waiting. 1 word. COMFY. The ambiance is very romantic at night I'd imagine. *** It took us a while to order because the brunch items are stuffed in a corner on the 2nd or 3rd page. I'm sure they are busy rectifying this. *** Price point is a decent at $25 for a brunch item & UNLIMITED Blood Orange Mimosas (VERY TASTY), Lychee Bellinis (LOVED IT), and Bloody Mary's. *** The Kittichai Pad Thai came larger in portion than I expected which is great because I am a BIG EATER. *** Shouts to Danya (waitress) that was VERY attentive as my champagne flute was never empty and neither was my friend's. Even the manager swung by to check on us a few times. *** Best brunch place ever? It very well might be.
