Savoy Plaza

Fun area worth checking out for anyone who has never been before. But, now that I've been, I really have no desire to go back. While it was very cool to see the water, the seals and Alcatraz, the pier really had nothing else to offer. A lot of the stores were cool, but they were also overpriced or sold things that would have been difficult to take back home with me (I live in Nevada)

You really need to come here if... 1. Your seafood addict 2. Your around NY There are Street performers, different kinds of foods, shops, lastly lots and lots of seafood! It's actually my second time coming to this area, but it's my parents first time. They loved it, it's Wholesome so everyone can come here, and trust me, unless you don't like living life, this is a place for you ;). You should definitely come here.:)

*Insider's Tip -Be sure to take one of the boat tours. They will give you a close up of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz plus a more landscape via of the city from the water. You will get the history of the area...and you get to go on a boat. It's a win-win every way you look at it.

Other than that, unless you're looking for chain food and little knick knacks or souvenirs, there's not a ton to do here as an adult with a proclivity for biking around and day drinking. This place is probably a lot more fun if you have kids. For real, though, awesome with the sea lions.
