Here is an unbiased review of business practice and customer service and NOT of the actual product, because I NEVER installed or activated it. I bought the product last year (bought 2 actually) but because of being home due to the pandemic, never got around installing it. This morning I see a sudden charge of $117.24 for renewal of service and this is where the business practice and customer service comes into play. 1) I called and after a 10 min hold, a recording told me to leave a message. PS: The company on its website on the first page advertises live customer service. 2) I then started a chat session on their website, to be told that I have to call in person as they can't resolve this over the chat, so back to calling and waiting to leave a message. 2) After about 45min, I received a call and after explaining my story, being put on hold twice for about 5 min each while the rep. asked the "manager", and then I was told that the product I bought came with security pre-activated. This was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase! 3) The premium service is on "auto-renew". This wasn't disclosed to me either. They refunding the the auto-renew fee but said they can't do anything about the 1 yr. of service , even though I never activated it. BOTTOM LINE: you be the judge if you want to deal with such a company with unscrupulous business practices and a painful customer service. I have no idea if the actual product works, but it is enough for me to cut my losses short.
