Olieng Thai Cuisine

This is our totally favorite Thai restaurant! We don't go frequently enough, maybe 4 times a year, but the server (a nice young man who was a college student when we first started going there) always remembers us - he knows the spicy preference is mine & my husband prefers it mild! It's a family-run place and you always feel welcome. Enjoy some authentic (or so I've been told) Thai food and the very reasonable prices!

Saw a review a few years ago about a hole in the wall Thai restaurant with great reviews. Once you've been it's easy to see why. The food is super tasty. Simple dishes, but with great flavour. The venue is basic and functional - it's not trying to be something it isn't. Visit, eat, enjoy, then carry on with your day. The staff/owners are great and accommodating. Every time I'm in New York I'll visit this restaurant a couple of times. The chap serving always remembers me and also the dishes I've ordered - definitely makes you feel welcome. Oh, you may walk past the place a couple of times before finding it. I still do :)

This place is truly a hole-in-the-wall establishment, but don't let that discourage you. The food here will satisfy even the most critical Thai food fanatic. It's tasty food that's easy on the stomach (no creamy or overly spicy curries here). Probably the best Thai I've had so far.

Just a few tables but well worth squeezing yourself in. Some of the best Thai food to be had anywhere. Pad Thai is a favorite as i the Mussaman Curry.
