Scam scam scam! Do not give Michael Wein your money.

Found them on Groupon. The company owner convinced me to not use Groupon and book him directly. However the service he use didn't accept my transaction and he couldn't use PayPal because of charge back scams , so he said. I wired him the money. The recording engineer did not open the door for the artist upon arriving to record studio. The owner didn't answer my text nor phone call when there was no one there to meet the recording artist. Hours later he texted back trying to say the artist wasn't there. The artist was leaving town the next morning and could not come back to record. That way May 5th, 2017. I am still trying to get a refund. And all I am getting excuses. This week I am planning to go to NYC and file fraud charges on the owner.

First Review: No one who has truly worked with these guys has commented so far.. I’ve never seen them at a show or at the studio... some ppl come in for a few weeks and expect to be a rockstar... For the past 6 months I’ve been a studio manager and record producer at MK.. Every artist is at a different stage with their vocal technique - sound, writing ability - talent, and performance confidence.. as well at a different stage with their fan base, presence, social engagement, image.. Some ppl think theyre going to be famous in 4 months of making music. These guys won’t promise fame or work with amateur talent.. But for the music makers that have found their sound and have fans and it’s all about creative music production and dope or/marketing campaigns - distribution plans.. these guys placed over 10 of my records through licensing companies and have had music on Feature films tv shows and commercials.. I’ve known many of these talented artists, musicians and producers for over 10 years and have seen their live shows and tours which have gone up and down the east coast, Europe, and Cali, etc. my honest experience, opinion and feedback on Master Kings... so far they’ve changed my life.. but I grew up listening to music and playing on the piano in bands every weekend since I was 16… I didn’t know anything about the music industry and once I move to New York and started auditioning in trying to take meetings at labels. I met a lot of people who took money from me and disappeared... the owner, Mike Wien, grew up here in a good family. He’s honestly too generous sometimes. He has my back and believes in my music. And he’s shopped my songs to record labels and management companies that fit me.. he’s an artist himself; so he’s not trying to make a living as a manager anyway.. it’s truly a community.. no egos.. it’s a family affair.. truly from the bottom of my heart know you will not regret working with them... I know you’ll thank this review later !!! if you’re serious about MAKING A CAREER IN MUSIC as a recording artist, singer, record producer, etc... it def won’t hurt to reach out and see if there’s work for y’all to do together. They don’t work with everybody; so expect to audition and submit EPK, music, etc. also, it’s not really a studio that just rents the space out.. sometimes I’ve seen it happen but the producers and songwriters really like to be involved and work with major and indie label artists, brands, and songwriters with pub deals on song, ep, album, commercial projects that have a publicity/marketing and distribution plan with a label - management company attached to it. It’s definitely not just pay to play if you’ve got something to bring to the table.. you never know who you’ll run into at the studio or event.. they are all great people. It a community.. I was at their Sony sponsored Webster Hall event and met famous DJ’s, singers, producers, venue managers, booking agents, etc.. and everyone was there supporting each other. Artist and all mediums… Painters and comedians actors… Once you start working with them. You can help the group and say you’re a part and help out.. it’s young guys and girls with a dream working together to make it. Good intentions. Good hearts.. loyal. Honest.... they do a lot.. like produce sponsored events and tours.. they really do hourly sessions anymore... They work on a lot of different kinds of projects but I know they only work with a handful of independent artists… but if you have completed music or after you record and master; create professionally mixed/mastered songs work with a lot of major label artists, brands, licensing/publishing companies for placements on TV/film/commercials... This company is a hybrid music company. I first met Michael Wien on tour performing with our bands at South by Southwest Music Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas in 2012...
