We hired Adam Nelson, from Workhouse Publicity to produce a press realize with a reach to top tiers design magazines. We found them on fiver where they were adverstising they series for about $600. First few good things: Adam is a nice person and kind of funny. Besides that he doesn't have an understanding of what he is doing. He edited my press release in broken English, and besides the grammatical correction it turned into something tacky, cheesy, nothing boutique or sophisticated. I spent hours briefing him. Re did after again, but he just doesn't get it. But the top is the reach out! he told me they have selected media people, the top of the top mailing list. A week after the blast email, one of my attorney told me that his grandma received the press release!! great woman, but nothing to do with hospitality, design or magazines! this is just the cherry on the cake! they were not able to do any serious reach out, zero valuable contacts, zero connections, zero sense of what design is. I wasted my time and my money.
