Bed Bug Pest Prep NYC

This is THE company you want to use if you need to get your house / apt prepped for Bed Bug extermination. I was so extremely lucky to have found Pest Prep nyc to do my prep prior to getting extermination treatment for bed bugs in my apt. Richard Kane, owner, not only gave me a very reasonable price quote but took the time to explain the process AND actually came over to my apt to inspect and give me a very fair and accurate quote for his services. I can’t tell you how stressed I was after discovering bed bugs and overwhelmed with prep needed that was a requirement by the extermination company prior to spraying. The extermination company required me to pack up my whole apt and put everything in the closets, shelves, art work, etc. in plastic bags. The Pest Prep team came to my apt and packed everything. They also did a heat treatment before vacuum sealing the bags to ensure that the items in bags were bug free. They were totally professional. During and after the 2 phase spraying process, Richard was always available and informative for any concerns or questions I had. Talk about hand holding… Richard totally backed up his services at all times. The extermination company was not available but Richard was… even when my concerns and questions were based on anxiety and stress of my situation. He did everything to help me which went far beyond his scope of services. He advised me, inspected pictures of bugs I sent him (none were bed bugs), recommended an alternate independent canine inspector who helped me confirm a false indication (the extermination company my bldg used wanted to spray the whole apt again based on their dog indicating at my dresser). My independent inspector did an ACTUAL PHYSICAL inspection AND a canine inspection and confirmed it was a false alert. My exterminator refused a physical inspection when their dog indicated. I really don’t think I could have gotten through this process and stayed sane without the expertise and compassionate help of Pest Prep nyc. Rich is one in a million, absolutely the best! He helped us prep our apartment when we got bedbugs in 2017 and was a calming presence throughout a very stressful time. Not only did his team do great work, but he also made himself available to us before and after should we have any questions. When we found a centipede in a boot after treatment he was more than happy to look at the picture and reassure us we had nothing to fear. Fast forward to August 2020 when we were worried we had bed bugs in our new home in Westchester. We had someone come with a dog who did detect bedbugs in our box spring but there was no visual sighting. When we called Rich about prep again he said something didn't sound right. He drove all the way from Long Island to Westchester on a Friday afternoon to check it out. He brought cameras to show us the inside of our boxspring and assure us we in fact did not have any bedbugs. Not only did he save us a ton of stress but also a ton of money. If you want someone who will not only take great care of your stuff but also great care of you Rich is your guy.  We have been incredibly fortunate to have him as a resource and are beyond grateful.
