Going into my move to New York, I was really nervous, especially because I'd heard about so many terrible landlord experiences from others. I have to say that I could not have asked for a better landlord than JP. I can't believe the reviews below me, stating that she is unhelpful and that her buildings are disgusting...I never had a single problem with my apartment, or the building itself. Any time I did have an issue, JP always answered in a very timely and helpful fashion. And believe me, I had my share of problems. I had a roommate who didn't pay her half of the rent, and ended up moving out a few months into the lease, leaving me with her damaged bedroom. JP helped me through the experience by answering all of the questions I had going through that situation both as a professional, and as a compassionate human being. She had the damage my roommate had left repaired as soon as I noticed it, and was kind enough to not charge me for the damage I hadn't done. She kept me informed every step of the way, even when it came to letting me know when she mailed out my security deposit after I moved out. I would highly, highly recommend becoming a tenant in any of her buildings!
