Dr. Hegedus was phenomenal!!! I had been putting off having my wisdom teeth removed for nearly five years, but I finally decided it had to be done, and I found Dr. Hegedus through my insurance's website. I first went for a consultation, where Dr. Hegedus was very thorough in explaining what was going on with my teeth and what we'd need to do, and he was happy to answer all my questions! When I went back in for the surgery, it was SO quick, and SO painless, and Dr. Hegedus was so personable, comforting, and chatty throughout, making sure to explain everything that was happening. It was a breeze! Two small qualms: I initially made my appointment about a month in advance, and the week of the appointment, a staff member called to tell me they needed to reschedule for another week (a little frustrating, as I'd had the appointment for a month, and already took the time off). Then, the day before my rescheduled appointment, they called to ask if I could come in an hour earlier than I had scheduled the appointment for (as it was a "long procedure," which seemed odd, as they knew the length of the procedure when it was booked, and it turned out to not be a long procedure at all! I think I was just the last appointment on a Friday afternoon). Besides these two scheduling notes, everything was fantastic, and ultimately, my experience still gets five stars! Bonus points for the incredible view of Central Park right from the chair!!

Dr. Hegedus is the best! Got my wisdom teeth removed from him and didnt feel a thing! I was very nervous and worried in the beginning of it but he comforted me and spoke to me along the way. The office had to move my appointment around but they were flexible enough to squeeze me in knowing the importance of my procedure. Excellent experience!

I saw Dr. Hegedus for wisdom tooth extraction and he was extremely knowledgeable, professional, patient, and caring. The extraction was very quick and efficient, and the healing period was exactly as estimated. Dr. Hegedus made the wisdom tooth process a breeze and I recommend him to anyone searching for oral surgery.
