while walking along the upper east side i made a quick stop at international news and mag shop to grab some lottery tickets and a few mags as it seems more and more places are 86 ing mags and newspapers all together so its cool to find a joint that still sells domestic and international mags and newspapers. they have many variety of mags as i was able to find a few that my french/ italian relatives like to read and i found the l.a. times that i still like to check out time to time too see whats going on in la la land. grab a candy bar , soda , lottery tickets , newspaper or the trashy people magazine and hit the road jack .overall 4 stars on my yelp meter.

International News and MagazinesI love this place. The best magazine selection in the hood. The most Candy variety and cigarettes for the smokers. They have all the important newspapers out front and sell lotto. This is a premier news and magazine business. I wasn't a big spender today but I did find the Mounds Bar I've been looking for everywhere. A bargain at $1.25 since I don't splurge on candy often. I'm recommending and I know I'll return. The magazine selection is the best and most orderly I've seen anywhere!

Been dropping in this magazine and newspaper shop for years. As I working in magazine advertising and publishing there are times when I need to pick up some international editions or hard to find publications that regular newsstands don't carry.Neat and organized layout on the wall racks and along bottom shelves. Guys who work here are nice and helpful. If needed they will help to order specific requests.There are also some snacks and cold drinks here, along with NYS lottery. Plus, they are open 24/7. It's like a throwback to a time when these small local newsstands/convenience stores were everywhere in NYC, when newspapers were big biz before cell phones and everyone read a paper on the subway while heading to work.

This magazine and newspaper shop is the Best. The magazines are all laid out and also in wall racks. You have a clear view of the selection, the guy behind the counter was very helpful. The shop is very clean and organized. They carry all types of magazines. I picked up some military and history magazines. The shop is open 24/7 which is Great. And they will even try an order special magazine requests. GREAT place...A+++
