This roomy and vibrant Caribbean-inspired restaurant is a feast for the senses. The central bar is the heart of the space, surrounded by big, comfortable booths and funky decor that sets the mood for a fun and memorable dining experience. But the real star of the show here is the food. The menu is packed with delicious and authentic Caribbean dishes, from spicy jerk chicken to perfectly fried plantains. The flavors are bold and complex, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch.

Ive gone to this restaurant for brunch on numerous occasions and Ive always enjoyed myself, food was delicious and its always been accommodating. My last visit on 3/18/2023 left much to be desired. We sat in the area outside of the restaurant which was fine because there was a wait of 45 minutes to sit inside. We had been there 2 weeks prior and had not problem and we sat outside on that occasion as well. It really goes to show how service can make or break your experience, the waitress made the experience of the restaurant far below the normal expectations. Her language of what she couldnt do was very disappointing. We asked for a salad to go along with the meal. We didnt ask for a substitution just an salad willing to pay for it, the waitress informed us that there were no salads on the brunch menu which is understood but two weeks prior we asked for a salad and it wasnt a problem. That left the first bad taste. Next we had to give her our card which she stated needed to be done to put on hold for the food. Which we thought that was a strange request because you usually leave your tab open when you order drinks which we didnt. Our order was 77.00 which included the gratuity. When it was time to pay she took the card out of her waist pack and searched through multiple cards to get ours and we were informed that there was no hold placed she just held the card. Im not sure if she was just overwhelmed with the day but that left me rethinking my choice to go back to this restaurant in the future. Bad service is really a turn off especially when the experience had been so good in the past.

Decent brunch spot. I noticed they have a heavy lgbt crowd on the weekends if thats what your into. Food is good, the music is usually pretty good(they advertise in hot 97 sometime). Drinks are pricey for this area and level of restaurant but brunch is cheaper with bottomless.
