Film at Lincoln Center - Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center

Leaving this here because I couldnt find somewhere to contact on the site. Went yesterday to see the screening of Aheds Knee. Was honestly the worst audio balance Ive experienced in a movie theater. I dont know if it was the directors preference but there needs to be a loudness limit, there were scenes where it was ear piercingly loud. I noticed multiple others in the crowd routinely covering their ears which is not really what you expect to have to do going to a screening of a drama.

They have usually pretty good collection of movies showing. The entrance is a little tricky to find as it is from the 65th so technically you get out of Lincoln Center area to get into theatre. The theatre itself is nice but the chairs won't be the most comfortable cinema chairs.

I was injured en route to seeing Velvet Underground but I insisted on seeing movie. Smart ticket taker offered me an ice cold can to reduce swelling on my injury and IT WORKED. Swelling went down and movie experience was good (movie needed more VUmusic less talk). They saved me a trip to a boring hospital waiting room
