EDIT: This was several years ago. When I updated the entry, the date reset. Brought a friend in. He was sweaty and gasping for breath. I honestly thought he was having a heart attack. He presented his insurance card. One of the desk staff -- a woman with all the compassion of a prison guard but not quite the same warm professional manner -- came back a few minutes later. Apparently, the last time he'd been there, a problem had arisen with the insurance company not making payment and when they'd tried to bill him, he didn't pay (either because he never got the bill or simply thought it was being handled by the insurance company). So she put the card back on the counter and said in that incredibly phony voice that staff have for these occasions that they "wouldn't be able to see" him today. Got that? A man presents with what looks very much like a heart attack and they do not even say, "There's an ER one mile down the road, we can call a taxi for you"? Just a smug little dismissal of someone who can barely walk? The receptionist kept her job. So I stopped going there.

The worst service! I’ve been a patient for years never get back to you on anything and receptionist are very not warm or personal always making you feel like so not important. The most disappointing-things you don’t want your medical provider be!
