    This restaurant didn't deliver the food that I ordered and paid for. The manager then hung up on me multiple times when I called to ask for a refund. Do not give this restaurant your business.

    This restaurant delivered an incomplete order to me and when I called to ask if they could send the items they forgot, they hung up. When I called back a few minutes later to ask again, they hung up again. They then stopped taking my calls. This restaurant literally stole my money.

    I ordered two set meals from Bann through Door Dash as part of 2021 Restaurant Week To Go, eager to support local a business. When my food arrived, the side dishes for one of the two meals was missing. I called the restaurant and politely explained what I was missing, only to have the woman on the phone tell me she'd "look into it" and quickly hang up on me. I followed-up with another call 5 minutes later, asking if we had gotten disconnected, and the woman said "No! I said I'd look it into it -- thanks!" and hang up on me again. When I tried to call again and find out what had happened, Bann refused to pick up the phone and continued ignoring my calls for about an hour. I called back at noon today and the same woman answered, put me on hold several times, and then hung up on me again. When I was finally able to get through and request both an explanation and partial refund, the woman was extremely indignant, misrepresented the situation, and said the missing components of my order "were set aside but never picked up last night" -- but NO ONE told me this last night, when I could've picked up my food, because they were hanging up on me and then ignoring all of my calls. This is the worst customer service I've experienced in NYC and it's simply unacceptable to take customers' money without providing the food they've paid for. It's also extremely disrespectful to hang up on a paying customer more than 5 times when they're inquiring about missing items and asking for a partial refund. This is the first time in my life that I've felt insulted enough to leave a bad review for a restaurant and I sincerely hope I never feel compelled to again. I'm extremely disappointed and, needless to say, I will not be patronizing Bann again.
