When I needed an engagement ring, I figured I would check out the store in my neighborhood. It was 100% the right choice and I recommend them enthusiastically. Gee was extremely helpful and patient as we discussed my options for a custom ring, even though I had not yet committed to buying from him. He quoted me a price that was competitive to non-custom rings with a similar diamond. The ring was ready within the timeframe we discussed, and it arrived exactly how we pictured. There was a very slight issue which Gee was happy to fix very promptly. My fiance loved the ring. We went back to Artiste ro have our wedding bands made, and I have steered a few of my friends to use Gee for their rings as well.

it has been my go-to for most of my upper west side jewelry help/ buys but I did have a bad experience recently. I was guided to a pretty expensive "fix" to one of my jewelry issues (broken lock) and we decided to get a second opinion. When I decided to go with the second opinion, I was treated quite poorly (potentially what you do with new business), but it was not great conversation and I was told "I was not a good listener". I was good listener, I just didn't think they had charged and refunded my credit card before I showed up with the actual physical card. My bad. if you are ready to be told that, then go ahead.
