Oyama Japanese Restaurant

I had a late night snack at the oyama's. Beer for 3 bucks, and a huge sushi plate for no money! If you don't mind the outdated interieur, and love a high sushi to money ratio, this is the place for you.

We had a seafood soup that was delicious and was way enough for two. They gave us two bowls right away. The beef and salmon teriyaki both were amazingly good in taste and were of huge size. We will definetely see this place again. WOW

I ordered delivery from here on Grubhub, and it was a great deal. I got the 3-roll dinner special for $10.95, which included miso soup. The selection of rolls provided plenty of variety, and the delivery was prompt. Sushi was fresh, and I especially liked the consistency of the spicy tuna roll. Great for a quick sushi dinner!

This place serves horrible quality food. My friend had food poisoning for 2 days and was sent to the hospital. But that is just the start of our awful experience here. The waiters ignored us every time we told them we wanted to order as if they did not understand english, then they would come 20 minutes later after calling them over about three times. The ONLY reason my group did not immediately leave was because we were celebrating a birthday and did not want to ruin it for that person. The bathroom was disgusting as well. Things thrown all around. Hot sake was bad quality and they served the wrong beer as well. I would rather have spent my friends birthday anywhere else.

I like bargain quality Japanese restaurants! My favorite is Yama. This place is pretty good! I suffed my face with a sushi deluxe spicy tuna hand roll, negamaki, and some fried ice cream (which I shared). I ate with 2 other adults and 2 small children and the bill with tip was less than $100 cheap! Fresh! Good size portions:)
