Fumo Harlem

Weve been dining at fumo since 2018, over the years every time we go back our experience seem to get worse. The restaurant is always overpacked and the people we sit next to are always loud and act obnoxious. Waiters need to speak up! Im always leaving with a headache food portions are getting smaller and due to the overwhelming takeout orders- the customer dining experience isnt accommodated. Today we ordered tap water and it had white partials floating in the cups and when we asked for a replacement we didnt even get any. Our appetizer was in such a small portion, on top of that- it was cold! Were not coming back again

Bad service I been there plenty times they act like they dont want to serve black people or people dressed a certain way the waiters are rude an non compliant

Each experience I have here gets worse and worse. The first time I came in was for dinner on a Tuesday night and had a very good experience overall. The food was good - not anything special - but good and service was acceptable. Following this I ordered takeout one night over the phone and the host was extremely rude and passive aggressive. The menu online says you can order wine to go, yet the host was arguing that I couldn't (well, turns out you can!) I ordered a side of broccoli which apparently they don't have. When I let her know it said online they do she says, and I quote, "Well would you like to order online then?" with a very bitter tone. The manager wasn't much better when I spoke with her. I spent almost $90 that night and was treated like an inconvenience. Not to mention when I picked up the food I asked if the wine was in the bag and the host says "I mean you can look inside if you want." Are you serious? The last and final experience I had here was brunch. No cream for coffee, and it took what felt like a very long time for a simple breakfast sandwich to come out. And when it did, just wow. I asked for no avocado but they left off everything except the egg and it looked like brown hard rubber.  Should've known not to come back. What has happened to the food scene in New York?? I've been so disappointed since moving back a few months ago.
