On Wednesday March 12th we dined at this restaurant. We were staying at the Marriott Marquis and wanted a good Italian restaurant experience in NYC close to the hotel. There were 5 of us, including two clients of mine. I have to say the experience was extremely disappointing. When we first arrived we sat at the bar until our table was ready and the rest of our party showed up. I ordered two popular and different bourbons, which your bartender said that they were out of. (Woodford and Makers) Not only that she could have cared less that she did not have what I requested. So then I ordered a Stella tap beer after looking at the taps at the bar. She then proceeded to tell me that they were out of Stella as well!!!!! Again no real care about how that impacted us. Well no bar tab was run at that point. (less revenue for them). We then were seated at our table and had to wait ten minutes for a server to ask us if we wanted anything to drink. (Eddie) then proceeded to take our drink order and as the 5th person was coming back from the bathroom and sitting down he walked away without asking for her drink order. Service continued throughout the dinner in this manner. It was like we were a bother. Our empty drink glasses remained empty most of the time as he would never come to the table unless we flagged him down. When he did come by he would take the one drink and not ask around the table for anyone else. He was very inattentive as he stood near the back counter leading to the kitchen. The food was good (not great) a little cold. Too many other choices in NYC to visit here.
