This is such a charming Italian restaurant. I went on a first date here with a super cute guy. It's a great date place. It's a lovely wine bar and restaurant. The food was divine. The service was superb. I love it. The guy is no longer in the picture, but this place definitely is.

Went to Uva for dinner and it was so busy! Loved that they allowed my Mimi to join in on our meal! We had a table in the garden.I generally enjoy the food here. Particularly our calamari salad, eggplant parm and the veal ragu with homemade pasta ribbons. I was disappointed the veal ragu was mainly sauce and barely any ground veal. And the side Brussels sprouts with pancetta. I was surprised that this dish was substitute with bacon, which were also huge slices. Would've preferred smaller bits. Just felt very overpowering with the bacon. However since the pieces were large it was easy to remove. I loved that all of my dishes came out very hot! And my server was attentive! The other note of disappointment was the wine by the glass list. I debated which one to order between the super tuscan vs Chianti. Neither was up to my liking and I normally love these two wines. However the by glass option was horrible. So I opted for the Cabernet, which had a fuller body. Overall, minus the wine by the glass list, the food is solid and flavorful. Will definitely return.

Boujee Italian date spot with homemade pastas whose perspectives on it vastly differ (not a huge fan myself). Roughly $25-$35 a dish. 3.5/5 stars as a dinner spot.

The fish was outstanding!! We had the absolute best time and the service was fantastic! I highly recommend enjoying and evening out wining and dining at UVA!! Recommended dishes Focaccia, Fried Artichoke Hearts, Meatballs, Sauce, Mushroom Ravioli More
