I was so disappointed with this experience. I have never left reviews, but I had to. I have eaten at this wonderful chefs restaurants in Israel. However this is New York and some things just can’t be carried over. Aside from the fun music and lively atmosphere. Please don’t raise your hopes. First, getting a reservation is next to impossible. It’s easier to get a reservation at the top places in NYC. Given the experience I am not sure why. I believe the Resy just hypes this up. If your seated at the kitchen bar, you will be met with unfriendly faces from the kitchen staff, clearly talking about the guests sitting there. The ability to see all the unsanitary red flags. Staff who are off or friends visiting and picking at the food, or the food spread across the bar used for cooking, when masks and other items have been on the same surface. I don’t know even know how the prices can be justified, I have eaten at the top places in NYC which were the same prices or less, for what your getting, tasting and the quality is just not acceptable. Let’s not try to reach for the stars here. Calm down. The drink list is terrible, no cocktails, no champagne. (One only) the champagne is served in a huge wine glass. When we asked the waiter he said, that’s all we have, and walked away. The wait stuff is very unkept, rude and unprofessional. The restaurant is not run like a New York establishment. The design is awful, once the lights come on, it is even more apparent. We left the appropriate tip. The waiter had the audacity to comment to us and basically demanded more. This would not happen anywhere else in NYC. Terrible customer service. Then we asked him to break some change for us. “ this isn’t a convince store” was the response. If your looking for some fun music and dancing, go for it. Beyond that I would not return here.

Hasalon was the perfect birthday celebration spot. Dinner turned dance party. We rented the private room which was the perfect size for our party of 20 guests. The vibe was fun, and our bartender Austin was the absolute best. highly recommended for any celebration or group outing!
