The Bentley Hotel

Stayed at the Bentley Hotel for a night with my boyfriend, and I have to say the accommodations and touches made by every individual staff made my experience more than five-star quality. We stayed at the Junior Suite with views overlooking Queensboro Bridge. Away from the hectic streets & loud sirens of midtown, the hotel is in the center of a neighborhood vibe with nice bars, eateries, and Trader Joe's! There is also a bar inside the hotel by the lobby with wide varieties of wine and booze. Not to mention, staff exhibits amazing hospitality services and makes an effort to always go the extra mile in meeting your expectations. I will definitely be staying at the Bentley Hotel again.

I am still devastated by my experience. I will say they really did try to make things right and couldn't control a lot of what happened during my stay - it really was out of their control, but I know had I stayed at a chain hotel I wouldn't have had these same issues. So the star I am giving is for the owner(s) of the hotel - DO BETTER BY YOUR BUSINESS, PATRONS, AND EMPLOYEES BECAUSE THEY DESERVE BETTER!!! The customer service here is amazing, but the owners make it hard for the staff because they aren't handling the business side or keeping up the property as they should! AND WE KNOW THEY CAN AFFORD TO DO BETTER FOR WHAT THEY CHARGE! My company recommends this place to all our employees who have to travel to NY. I'm tempted to stop this practice! Just do better! I won't show my pics or post my videos out of respect for the amazing staffers - they don't deserve that and still need to make a living. DO BETTER - I CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH!

I stayed here one night on a Thursday and checked out on Friday. I thought the hotel was comfortable and clean. I chose a standard room and it was a little hotel suite. It was great to walk into the room and have a desk and couch and then the bedroom off to a separate room. It was reasonably priced for NYC. The room itself was just $ 209 but they tacked on fees so the bill came to about $300. My only two complaints was it was dark in the room and the overhead light kept flickering so I called Maintenance. They came and said they fixed it but as soon as the man left the light continued to flicker and I was sitting there trying to work on my laptop. The breakfast for $25 was a huge disappointment as well. It's like they didn't care at all and tried to make it bad. I arrived at the dining room around 8:45 am and the coffee was lukewarm, kind of old and weak. It was total self service and the eggs were dried out. Even the yogart was awful.. it tasted artificial. How could a NYC hotel screw up breakfast so bad? Please skip it and go to the diner a few blocks away.

I would never ever recommend this disgusting hotel to anyone. We booked a room with them and they gave us a handicap room. There was no vanity in the bathroom rust all around the bathroom mirror there was no vent sand in the bathroom. The rug had stains all over it. They said coffee would be available all day not true. They had breakfast for $30 a person for this danishes and scrambled eggs. I don't think so there are plenty places around that you can get delicious meals but I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anybody, it's an aged hotel and it looks it the front gentleman. Carlos was wonderful as well as Steve any anybody else? I really have nothing else to say good about except for the doorman. He was lovely but do not stay at this hotel. You'll be very disappointed. It's disgusting.
