One bad apple doesnt spoil the bunch. I went to see my favorite Dermatologist on my routine check-up. Upon checking In for my appointment, I faced a young lady with a poor attitude who demonstrated the attribute of a turkey. Apparently, asking questions seems to be more of an annoyance than actual customer service. I may have to start rethinking my environment. (I hope her rushing for lunch suffice.

Physical Therapy: This is what my experience is. No staff! Had to call every day to get some appointment in the future, the secretary is never at her desk, there is no one accountable here. The physical therapy was over in 20 minutes, the therapist, Ron? Never returned my calls, I ended up going to Northwell Physical Therapy as this was impossible to get any relief or help and the excuses made were endless. This whole center needs to be closed and re-staffed with competent people. It's ridiculously unprofessional. NYU should be ashamed.

It was a very decent, very clean center. For the most part the staff was very nice however their is 1 "Karen" nurse on staff. She was aggressive and did not listen to me but what can you expect from such a person. I loved my surgeon, but my anesthesiologist didn't have a great bedside manner. She was a cold person but at least I was knocked out properly so I guess she did a job well enough. At the end she did listen to me about my anxiety issues and about how that may be an issue and she seemed prepared, so for that at least I'm grateful. I've dealt with friendlier staff but this staff knew what they were doing and other than nurse "Karen" that didn't know how to put in an iv very well it was an ok experience. The nurse who didn't listen to me wound up bruising me pretty bad and I understand that bruising and things can happen from an iv but I get them all the time. I'm almost like a living pin cushion, and that was a painful iv that should have been re adjusted and done better. Would I go back here? I know it's a safe good place that is reliable with the surgery. A week later and all seems to have gone well. If I had the choice though I probably would go someplace else in the future with a little better bedside manner from some of their staff. All around otherwise, I'm grateful, thank you, I'll let you know if the surgery is A success with an update in a few weeks. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: 1. Parking is extremely difficult all parking in front is not for regular civilians please be prepared to have somebody either wait in the car, put it in a parking lot or spend at least a good hour before hand to circle around to look for parking. 2. You're check-in and recovery time, as long as you're OK, are pretty quick I was in-and-out of there within about 3 hours from start to finish it's one of the fastest best places I've ever been in as far as time goes and I really like that they minimize the stress of you being there.

This NYU clinic is convenient for me usually local clinic are not the best. I only had one issue with one doctor whose no longer at 171 Delancey Street clinic the staff is great the doctors are great also scheduling is greatbest place ever.
