As my mother got older, it was clear her house was too large and not well suited to live there on her own anymore. A decision had to be made on where she would live. She made it clear she wanted to be independent, so we started looking for a good house. This is when we met Marilyn Karpoff and Karpoff Affiliates. Originally we had found her as a real estate broker and were going to use her for the selling and buying of the new home, but then she told us about her Moving ON NYC senior services. She was able to help my mother sort items, donate and sell the things she didn’t need, oversaw the packing/unpacking and moving of items and when we bought the new house she had people come in and add senior friendly amenities. She handled everything! I didn’t have to deal with movers, packers, handymen, repair men, shutting down and setting up new utilities, nothing! She took care of everything, I only had to deal with her, this was by far the easiest move I ever had, and a pleasant transition for my mother. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her.
