So, so so happy, to finally see a welcome addition to Our Community. For too too long that lot layed empty, sad. Now, the sound of The Children as They run and play during Their breaks from the classroom. Thank You and I Pray for The Children, Their Parents, The Teachers and School Officials, May The Love Of God surround Yous All and May We continue to Bring a sunshine to each other's lives today, tomorrow and Beyond. Welcome to Sugarhill !!!.

This school is like a family to me! I am so glad I joined because I honestly don't know where I would be without it. Though it is hard to do anything during covid, and though some things are harder to handle, Harlem Academy was able to take lead and keep on going! You should definitely come if you want a strong and loving, yet challenging community!!!

My daughter Mariah and Tara (another alumn) cut the ribbon at Harlem Academys NEW CAMPUS!!!!!! (I must have missed the invite lol- darn Covid!) I remember being approached by Mr Dotoli and Ms Prince at a school fair just when they were launching the school in 2004. My daughter was attending Catholic school and I really wanted to get her into an Independent School. I wasnt sure about taking a chance with a brand new school. I applied for a different school but was waitlisted. I then went in to meet with Mr Dotoli to learn more about what HA had to offer. At that moment I realized the potentialThe small class sizeThe grassroots energy. Education without red tape. Mariah joined the 2nd grade class (which happened to be the second graduating class of the school). As a new school HA had a few growing pains and lessons to be learned and they learned them. My daughter graduated 8th grade, attended a top prep HS, a top University, and travelled the world. Mariah was a handful at school . Im thankful that she was able to learn in the environment HA created. Her small class was like a family and each student was an important member. I feel great to have been able to witness the vision of HA grow from a tiny seed to a beautiful garden! Congratulations Mr Dotoli for what you have accomplished thus far for the children of Harlem and beyond. Hard work and dedication pays off. I look forward to see what the future holds for the children of Harlem Academy!
