Food Bank For New York City Financial Empowerment Center

I been doing taxes with the food Bank for more then 10 years I use to go to 125th st nick and 116st food bank.my taxes was always done good thank you food bank .

On 3/26/22 I came in for 2:00pm appointment at 71 Saint Nicholas Ave location and still had to wait. In addition to that, the young African man that was my tax preparer was EXTREMELY rude! As soon as I got to his desk he kept huffing and puffing and saying how tired he was, caught me at the wrong time, etc. very bad attitude. Then once he got to my W2s he said oh you have five W2s and greatly rolled his eyes about it with no shame. I was so uncomfortable and disgusted by his unprofessional behavior I didnt know what to do but stay glued to my phone! Thankfully the woman that reviewed my taxes was actually PROFESSIONAL! Everyone was except for that one guy! I traveled too far to get such a rude service! Ive always used food bank for tax preparations and Ive never encountered such bad attitude from one of the staff before until today!

First time here and all the workers here was so nice and professional, they don't rush you they spend quality time with everyone according to your needs..I was in awe I wasn't expecting this kind of treatment, they need to be recognized for the wonderful time and effort they put in to help you..so if thank you all very much your help is very much appreciated!
