If this place could get ZERO stars that is what I would give it. The front desk staff here is the rudest and most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered at a medical office. You would think they they were doing you a favor by seeing you even though you a paying patient! Nobody knows how to use the words please and thank you. I witnessed the front desk person screaming at an elderly patient. It took me four weeks to even make my appointment and they called and cancelled it on the same day! I will never return here and will be finding a new PCP. Stay away!

Long wait, aloof staff. Great location, but would definitely travel farther to seem like I'm cared about.

This review is not a reflection on the doctor I saw, who made my first routine health check visit pleasant. After leaving the office sent my routine blood work to the wrong lab, even though my insurance isn't affiliated with that lab, if they had bothered reading. Upon receiving a surprise bill in the mail for the outstanding (however small) amount I called my insurance company (Emblem Health) to follow up. After several calls to them they reveal that they never got the claim from this office. A 3-way conference was set up and a receipt of my visit was emailed over to Emblem Health, though, I myself had to be the one playing the part of the professional to ensure the loose ends were tied. To make a long story short; after 2 conference calls Emblem Health still says the claim was never received. I call Mount Sinai again and they say they have no record of my visit (which was scheduled through zocdoc). 6 phone calls later and the time put in for this shameful performance and unprofessional performance leaves me disgusted and lied to. Nobody at the office, or at Emblem Health for that matter, care to help me. The issue was never resolved because nobody cares about taking responsibility and seeing things through to do it right. Deceitful amateurs, AVOID!

I did not at all like the attending, who was a large man himself, wtalked to me like I'm an idiot, and blamed all my health problems on weight. Dr. Li not only ignored my concerns and blamed my weight for every health problem (started by talking about my excellent diet) but he didn't believe anything I said because I'm fat - and BMI is the one and only cause of all disease, he also body hair shamed me. I shouldn't have to get a full body wax, to get decent medical care. Do not go here if you are trans or non-binary, they don't get it at all, don't even have correct options on forms. The attending puts every overweight women on metformin even when they are definitely not diabetic. The building is beautiful, the staff fairly average, but the advertising in the waiting room, and the general lack of knowledge of the doctors was obscene. They don't work with you, and only care about BMI. I told my doctor, I was so upset by what he was saying, that I wanted to stick my fingers down my throat in his office, he was so triggering and weight focused and he ignored me and that statement and continued to try to sell me on a weight loss program - the word compliance came up several times. As soon as I get my meds, I'll search for a better practice. That was the worst, maybe don't treat people like low information idiots. He told me gerd was caused by fat squishing my organs, which makes no sense and plenty of thin people have gerd too. I have a lovely gastroenterologist, who completely disagrees and has taken care of me respectfully. AVOID this practice if you know anything about medicine or have any mental health concerns, eating disorders or are even slightly overweight. Update - I had gallstones- and nearly died because this practice told me the agonizing pain I was in for months - was because I'm fat. Their fatphobia almost took my life. Also,  they made inaccurate comments about my fertility (based on my appearance alone)

ZERO stars. It is laughable at how horribly organized this place is. I've never received such bad service at any establishment in my entire life be at a restaurant, hotel, or other doctor. First off, there is no way to directly communicate with the secretary (no, I don't mean his/her cell phone, I mean their OFFICE line). Fine, this is just the way the hospital system is set up. So I was advised to create a MyChart account, only the account has to be set up first for you to send messages (several requests later and I still cannot send messages). The saga begins when I had to fax them immunization forms (you can't send via PDF even if they're blank). When I sent it I asked if there was any way to verify it had been received. "Unfortunately, no, that's complicated,"was the response. So, was it received? No. Finally, it was received (I'll spare you the details). Shortly thereafter, I go to get blood work and they've lost my records. The doctor needs to complete my immunization history, and she has LOST MY RECORDS. Lucky for them, I have a copy. Finally, I go to pick up the completed forms because yes, you have to go in person, and guess what? Only the final page is in there!! Where are the first two pages??! Who knows. This whole process has taken me a month. STAY AWAY! The doctors may be capable, but does that even matter when the service and administration is completely unorganized and incompetent?
