Pésimo servicio.. no hay comunicación entre la recepciónista y los instructores al momento de las citas. Dese el momento en que te subes al carro los instructores no tienen ni idea de como guiarte, ni la paciencia para enseñar. Poreso mismo es muy económico. No lo recomiendo.

I walked in to inquire about committing to a lessons package for me and my husband and the individual at the front desk didnt acknowledge my existence. I greeted with a smile and they acted like I didnt exist. Im 8 months pregnant, it felt very rude, triggering, and targeted, and I would even say discriminatory, likely due to my condition. Never have I felt so ignored and had worse service, disgusting.

Its an OK driving school. Instructors arent bad; however they dont allow you to move your road test
The bad reviews are justified. If you pay for the 10 lesson package they wont show you how to park until more than half way through.
Again a key point of the driving exam; that can determine your license; is not taught in your first couple lessons.
Also they offer stick shift lesson on their website but they no longer have any stick shift vehicles in their fleet

So many bad reviews for no reason, I believe its the driver at fault and not the instructors! Yesterday I passed my road test at the Havermeyer site with the help of all the lessons I learned with akademia!!
Ive booked these guys for 2 45 minute lessons, 1 90 minute lesson and the vehicle for the road test, the vehicles are old but after using them for the lessons it makes you feel comfortable enough since you have experience with the car to ace the road test, I had my doubts and felt like I was going to flunk it but I didnt.
Shoutout akademia, shout out instructors Esther, Victor, and the bigger guy (Forgot his name) for all the help in progressing me to the next step.
Ignore all the negative remarks, these guys are the ones to go to. Like I said the ones leaving the nasty comments are the ones who was bad behind the wheel!
