Penny Templeton Studios is the best. They really help you to find your true inner acting abilities. Can’t wait to be in their Master Class.

I seriously cannot say enough about Penny and her Studio. I've been in NYC working on cable network shows & indie projects for the last 5 years. I love the projects I've been on but I wanted to up my game. When I'd get roles for Network or Streaming services, I'd get so nervous and have a hard time remembering my lines or finding the character and felt like things wouldn't look polished or as professional as I wished. Since I started taking Penny's Classes, I've gotten better auditions for series regulars, Co-stars & guest stars! Bigger roles than I've ever gotten. And I am talking quick turn arounds too. Like 7 page scenes in less than 24 hours. With the tools Penny & Hank teach, I've learned so much about how to memorize quickly, know "What the scenes about", get in the emotional zones I need to be in fast, and how to create a memorable, deep, real character within a matter of hours. The Advanced Class is perfect to get you into the style of teaching they do at the studio & Language. In the Era of Zoom and Self-tapes galore, you learn how to use the camera, your eyes, and if needed, props for your self-tapes to really jump off the screen, plus more. In the Master Class, we've done "Classical" & "Period Pieces" from various genre's and learned how to adapt them for both stage and screen. Now, I know what some may thing, "I am trying to be a TV/Film Star, not a Theater Actor." Well, keep your mind open because I swear, I've never had as many auditions as I do now. WHY? I believe it's the freedom I have gained from learning how to character act, build a world, then bottle it up for the complex internal struggle we see people go through on TV & Film. As Penny says "Bringing that big world inside, so the audience can see it through your eyes." These classes are not easy A's. It's not snake oil, quick fixes to what some may try and sell you. It's dirt between your fingers, early mornings, late nights, the real deal. You'll work hard, it will be rewarding as hell, emotionally as an actor you'll grow and you will see your craft, work, and art shine brightly. I have :-)

Penny and Hank have created a safe, loving space for actors at any level to grow. They nurture and create confidence and guide actors to their own inner wisdom to create theater work and camera work that is A+ level. Everything they say is accurate in their website. Every moment is full of acting work and exercises. You are working all your facilities 100%.

So much benefited and enjoyed studying the true craft of acting with Penny and Hank. The experience was of great benefit in Court trying cases.I was emboldened to audition and had several roles in a well respected community theatre. The sessions at the studio both on and off camera had lasting impact. But for Templeton Studios I would not have experienced a role in an independent film previewed several years ago. Another benefit of the Studio is the role playing Meisner method. One's emotions are accessed and expressed which made for an interesting and memorable experience. Penny and Hank are seasoned and well respected professionals. I recall doing an exercise with another student and several years later seeing her on T.V. with in the leading role in a still aired well know series. But this may be old news as this studio has launched many careers both in Film and on stage.Let's hope the Studio gets through these trying times. Young thespians deserve no less.
