Gracie Mews Diner

We had brunch here today. Ive been a long time customer having breakfasts every weekend and dinner at least once a night but have not been here in a while having moved out of walking distance but I will be back more often. The service is impeccable. The restaurant is spotless. Your coffee gets filled without having to wave to get someones attention. Theres attention to detail and the owner Steve is there. Hes a working owner. In the kitchen one moment, supervising something else the next. They have a large staff who are beyond excellent. Very well trained and very dedicated to their work and pleasing the customers. The food is above diner quality and thus the prices are more expensive. Everything is fresh. I had the waffle topped with strawberries blueberries banana, in generous portions. And the OJ is freshly squeezed, not yesterday or last week or not at all but when you order it. My GF had soft boiled eggs and a bowl of berries. We had bottomless coffee. It is not inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Everything that comes out of the kitchen was beautifully plated and presented - we saw a lot of different orders coming out. Gracie Mews is outstanding, one of the last like this.

One of the best restaurants on the UES. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive. The manager, Ivan, as well as wait staff such as Terrence truly make the experience feel as though you are dining with friends and family. The quality of food you receive for the price that you pay is difficult to beat. My girlfriend and I have been frequent visitors for the past three years and look forward to continuing to visit for many years ahead!

This place is the absolute best! The food is always delicious no matter what you order, its clean, service is impeccable and even better the staff is super friendly. Ivan the manager and the rest of the crew are truly wonderful. We wish we lived closer because this place has a huge menu with anything you could possibly crave. Gracie Mews Diner wont disappoint!
