I changed dermatologists a few years ago after a negative experience with another doctor and have only positive experiences with Dr. Kihiczak. The entire office staff is lovely and Dr. Kihiczak is extremely knowledgable + has a terrific bedside manner. Highly recommend.

I saw Dr Kihiczak a few months ago, and showed him a large lipoma tumor on the top of my back adjacent to my spinal cord that I have had for many years. It had started bothering me, and had grown slowly over time so I wanted it removed. The doctor looked at it briefly, without really examining the area thoroughly, and said he would remove it. I was nervous, and Dr Kihiczak reassured me that he has done this procedure many times before, and I should feel comfortable with him doing the surgery. I scheduled the surgery for this past Tuesday. Upon examining me and getting ready to prep, he exited the room and came back in with Dr.Long. Dr Long looked at it, and then they both left. Dr. Kihiczak came back in and said he did not feel comfortable doing the surgery and that I should seek a more experienced surgeon to do the procedure. I am glad he did not do the surgery, but I am very displeased that he did not make that determination on his first examination of the tumor. He was way too cavalier upon his initial exam, and his sloppy, lack of thoroughness resulted in my taking a 1/2 day off work, my husband taking time off to travel in to Manhattan to pick me up after the "surgery" and lots of needless anxiety. Not happy. Looking for a more competent surgeon.

Dr.K is an exceptional doctor. His bedside manner and attentive demeanor make him a very pleasant. I visited him every two weeks for more than a year. Wait times are non existent and the staff is friendly. He takes the time to explain why you're experiencing your symptoms and thoroughly explains the course of treatment. He has never pressured me to pick a specific treatment or prescription. You will know all of your options under his care.
