Had been going to Dr Cowitt for 2 years based on a coworker's recommendation - what a mistake! Completely botched both procedures I went in for- a tiny chip on a tooth, and a more serious root canal. My chipped tooth remained chipped after going in 2 times to "fix", and the root canal became infected shortly after he "treated" it, ended up having to spend $3,000 to fix on top of what had already paid Dr Cowitt to do it the first time. Honestly, wish I could take this guy to court. My new dentist immediately referred me to a root canal specialist when saw the infection. Wanted to give this dentist a chance as the hygienist and front staff were great, but after going in multiple times for each procedure, with ultimately both botched, decided to stop treating this as a charity and find an actual dentist. This is probably the 3/4 review I've ever written, but experience was bad enough, and cost me enough, that it deserves feedback. Avoid at all costs!!
