Weve been coming to Fred Astaire Midtown for over four months now. Every time we go its so much fun! Anthony and Olga are great teachers, I cant believe how much weve learned. If youre a beginner they are amazing at explaining every step with lots of patience. And its great that its a smaller studio so you get a lot of privacy during the lessons. But if you love to dance already I think youd like it here too because they are a very social group of dancers that love to have fun and throw monthly parties! We tried a couple of schools in the city before Fred Astaire and have no doubt this is the best one. We made great memories here that will last forever!

This place is addictive! I have been going now for 3 weeks and have enjoyed every minute. The classes are diverse and are taught by wonderful instructors. Only complaint is the way they do the class passes. You can buy a pack of 10 for cheaper and have 3 months to use them but the even cheaper pack of 20 expires at 30 days! Meaning if you dont go 5 days a week, 4 weeks staright you will lose some passes. However still love the place!

My husband and I went to Fred Astaire for the wedding dance classes because we didn't know how to dance with the song we picked. The instructor Divieta fixed all the problems we had!!! She was patient and amazing. We signed up for a 10 classes packages one month before the wedding. Divieta created simple elegant and fun dance moves for us. She even suggested that we could ask the band for a slower speed version of the song so that we could dance better. Great great great suggestion! The band provided the perfect version after we asked them. The result of the classes was outstanding. At the end, my husband couldn't believe he was able to dance with 2 minutes song. All our wedding guests were surprised how well we did for our first dance. My husband's words,"The best investment of our wedding."
