Hornblower Cruises & Events Pier 40

I went on this cruise for Halloween 2 years ago and it was a complete fail!! Too crowded never got to board the big cruise but a little ugly one instead, too many people packed , not even enough room to dance, no decorations except for a blowup ghost , dark no lights inside or anything giving you the impression that it was supposed to be a party, no organization what so ever!! I’d like to go again to see if it has improved at all. Reading recent reviews seems like it’s only gotten worse. So sad… 😡

It was supposed to be a latin night, that's what inpaid for, by 12:35 the music flip for hip-hop, not what I paid for. Food was not worth $25.00. Totally disappointed.

10:30 departure and by 11pm we weren’t on the boat. There were no directions on what was happening and it was a complete mess. We ended up leaving and not even attending our booze cruise.

Food was good but it was a bit unorganized. The wait to get checked for i.d was crazy but luckily I had v.i.p (which I want even given my wristband for and had to go back off the bus to ask about because in order to get bottomless mimosas you had to have it). The wait for food was crazy plus it was brought in pretty late so we were hottt waiting for food, for quiet some time. Mimosas were good tho. Crowed and of course no one was wearing a mask so if you're covid worried don't go loll. There were different genres of music on each of the 3 floors. Staff was nice. Overall it was cool
